AEΠ OF BROWN UNIVERSITY | BETA RHO CHAPTER

Honorary Brothers

David Bacharach - "Godfather"
David Bacharach (Old Dominion '66) is Past Supreme Master of the Alpha Epsilon Pi Fraternity, and was the Supreme Master when the Beta Rho Chapter was chartered. In recognition of his continuous support of AEPi at Brown, he was initiated into our local chapter as an honorary brother. Most recently, Dave Bacharach was awarded the Order of the Lion, the highest honor one can receive as a brother of AEPi.
Aaron Katchen
Aaron Katchen was activities director for the Brown Hillel from 2000-2002. He was in the AEΠ chapter at York University in Toronto and was their master for a year. Aaron was a very devoted AEΠ brother throughout his time working at Brown. He befriended many of the undergraduates and served as a thoughtful advisor to the chapter for two years. Aaron also allowed AEΠ to host and co-sponsor cocktail parties with Hillel, enabling us to have more exposure within the jewish community at Brown.
A. Thomas Levin '64
Although there was no AEΠ chapter when he was at Brown, A. Thomas Levin was initiated some years later in a ceremony in New York City. At this ceremony, his father, Past Supreme Master Irving Levin, a previous recipient of the Order of The Lion, was honored for his service to the fraternity. He is a former member of the Brown University Alumni Association Board of Governors and former President of the Brown University Club of Long Island, Inc. In addition, he is Past President of the New York State Bar Association.
